Mercantile Trading Company was established in 2009 to import/export products from the Americas. MTC-Teak was formed specifically to export Teak hard wood from several Latin American Country’s to China, India and the United States. Over time we have expanded our timber portfolio to include Pine, Melina and Purple Heart. See our Products section for more details. MTC-Teak controls several teak plantations throughout Latin America. By doing so, we guarantee quality teak wood at a reasonable price. We recognize time is money. We guarantee our customers quality plantation grown teak at an affordable price. We bring over 30-years of forestry experience with our on-site professional foresters in timber selecting, purchasing, and harvesting. We help our customers purchase quality timber in a transparent, efficient and a fair business transaction. Due to fluctuating market conditions, our teak log prices are updated monthly and sent to our preferred customers.
