We are an International Freight Forwarder which head office located in Chittagong, Bangladesh with the great support of our parent company SML ICD-CFS. Currently, about 20-22% containers exported through Chittagong Port, are containerized at SML ICD-CFS facilities. Please note that, for smooth operations, SML need to keep about 1200-1700 TUEs empty container stock (of different MLOs) on any given day. Therefore, SML has very strong relationship with different Main Line Operators. To maintain world class service standards, SML has extended our good relationship with local Shippers/Consignors, C&F Agents, and most importantly with Chittagong Port Authority. Most of the time, SML is chosen by MLOs and Freight Forwarders over other CFS facilities because of its strong Vertically Integrated Logistical Infrastructure for swift and reliable service. Given its strong infrastructure, core competencies, and knowledge base, GYL is currently looking for a reliable partner: Shipping and Freight Forwarding in some new area of Asia. Presently our business activities of Golden Yellow Limited (GYL) can be divided into: Sea freight - 60% Air freight - 10% Warehousing & Distribution - 30% In the sea division GYL main strengths are in India, BD, Middle East, Mediterranean, Black sea trade lane. We share close business ties with shipping carriers like HANJIN/APL/MAERSK/HPL/OOCL through whom we ship our substantial C&F cargo from Dhaka and Chittagong to all the above trade lanes. With development of company biz, we are trying to look for a partner in Asia who has good network therein.
